In the path of Storm
This was briefly shown in Season Three, when the angered Owl gets trapped and meets Hollow. However was mainly skipped over as it was believed the contents of the book would alarm most of the young viewers. This is because the main half of the story focuses on a new adversary, a wildcat who wants to pray on the younger animals and several of the younger members of Friendly's family are either hurt or killed and for this reason they are not shown at all to avoid having to increase the rating of the show. Owl does meet a mate, but as he is male in the books it is originally named Holy. Her appearance is very brief and has little of the vanity of Hollow in the show. Again the character was extended for comic relief.
